Step 1 Quote You reach out and request a quote. The most efficient way to provide a quote is to arrange a site visit. This allows the painter to view the area and discuss your needs. This can be arranged on a day and time that is most suitable for you. For exterior painting, we can provide quotes without the customer being there. For interior painting, we do prefer a tenant to be available to discuss. We can arrange the collection and return of keys from real estate agents where required. If you don't have access to the property, that's no problem, provide as much information to us as you can, and we can get back to you with an estimate. Step 2 Review A written quote or estimate will be emailed to you detailing the painting or plastering work to be completed. The quote will be inclusive of all labour, materials, and GST (unless stated otherwise). Take some time to review the details and ask as many questions as you like. If you choose to proceed with the quote, you can reply to the email accepting the quote. If the commencement date has not already been discussed, this will be determined prior to an email with the deposit details being sent. Once the deposit has been paid, a receipt will be sent via email and the commencement date will be secured. Step 3: Commencement Preparation, preparation, and more preparation. This is where we start, and will be a large portion of the work. Don't stress if you don't see a lot of progress early on; the preparation is what sets a qualified and professional painter apart from the rest. Prior to preparation, protective coatings will be applied to furnishings. The preparation ensures a high-quality painting finish that will last. Step 4: Transformation The painting application will depend on the interior painting or exterior painting inclusions and whether the painting service is residential painting or commercial painting. Domestic painting is usually quicker than commercial. The timeframe for painting can vary depending on preparation time, paint colours, surface condition, location, weather, and access. Step 5: Results That is it! Your professional painting service is now completed. A walk-through will be conducted to ensure you are satisfied before the final invoice is sent. You are now left to enjoy your newly painted home or business. It really is that simple!
